Local Blogging Workshops In Your Area

Blogging ConcentratedDan Morris is hosting blog workshops around the country (United States) and I've been watching with interest.

I met up with him last week for lunch, to get the inside scoop on what he's doing and how it's going. Unlike typical industry events, these are one-day workshops for local attendees - so they require no travel expenses or major planning.

I've known Dan for years (he's local to me) and really like what he has going on with Blogging Concentrated so I wanted to share this with you so you can keep an eye out for one of these blogger workshops in your area...

You can get all the details at the website link above, but I'll go ahead and tell you that these blogging workshops are for "Intermediate to Advanced Bloggers" only. They are not getting started sessions, and they don't cover start-up and set-up. On the site, the ideal attendee is described as:

Bloggers who have traffic to their websites, have been blogging for a while, are making a little money but are ready to take the next steps are the best fit for this program.

If you ARE a newer blogger, or just getting started, I'll share some resources with you at the end of this post, so scroll down for that. ;-)

Again, you can get all the details at the website, but here is the current schedule of local blogging workshops:

As I mentioned, these blogging workshops are specifically for bloggers who are already getting traffic and making money - but want to take things to the next level. If you're not quite to that Intermediate/Advanced level yet, you'll want to put in a little time and get up to speed before you consider the Blogging Concentrated events.

I do "affiliate niche blogging" for a living and have been working online now for over 16 years - and am in my 10th year of blogging. If you're just getting started (or thinking about it) I recommend you start with my post on choosing the right topic for your blog and do the Brainstorming Exercise at the end of that post.

I do work with beginners, and can help you from everything to choosing your niche to selecting the perfect domain name - and all the steps from that point forward to help you create a profitable blog. For more information, see Get Hands-on Help.

If you prefer to learn on your own, I recommend the Niche Success Blueprint. That will give you everything you need to get an awesome start on profitable blogging! ;-)

Also, here's a fun post on How To Be A (Well-Paid) Professional Blogger, including a video at the end where I share what MY life is like as a full-time blogger.

Best,

p.s. There are a lot of new events added every month, so be sure to check the Blogging Concentrated calendar for a one-day event near you!

  1. I do hope they sell the replays from the event :(

Would love to be there, but being from the UK it just won't be possible.

  2. Kerry, We don't have plans to sell the recordings yet. . . but that's entirely possible. However, we do have plans of coming to the UK. We're working on a workshop in Paris at the moment. Once we get that nailed down we'll be able to figure out the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

WooHoo! Thanks for your interest. :)

  3. I would love to be on that workshop. Sadly, I cant.

  4. I did want to come to the Wisconsin one (it's just under a 2 hr drive) but some things have come up and I doubt that will be happening. I hear great things about it. Jealous of the FL folks this weekend.

  5. Hi Lynn, I believe all bloggers who have had some success while trying their hand at blogging would never miss a chance like this. I men what else can one want, it would be really helpful for all bloggers. Thanks a lot for the info.
