Congrats on the new Dell’s earlier than expected arrival.

I’m still holding off on the HP laptop purchase. For what reason? I have no idea. I just should take the plunge and be done with it.

Speaking of printers, I have an OLD one that is my absolute favorite. It is an HP LaserJet 6L that I have probably had for 8 or 9 years – and it wasnt even new then! It is still running daily, super fast printer, economical…

I need to decide how I am going to replace it (with what, specifically) when the need arises.

I’m an HP person, too. A couple of years ago, I was trying to install a brand new HP printer and for whatever reason, my Mac G5 (which has long since bit the dust) would not allow it to print.

I thought it was an HP problem, so I called their customer service and the technician stayed on the phone with me for 4 hours (yes, 4 hours!) until he figured it out.

Turns out it wasn’t the printer at all, but the Mac .

I wound up ditching the Mac (for that and other reasons) bought an HP desktop, which is still as going as strong as the day I bought it.

I have been a loyal HP customer since and have my eye on one of their laptops next.
