Generation Y: The Most Entrepreneurial in History

A new article from Inc.com on Yahoo! Finance titled 30 Under 30 offers a list of the Top 30 young entrepreneurs in America.

A quick glance caught my interest, as I recognized a few of the names on that list. The photo to the right, for example, is Sean Belnick – founder of BizChair.com.

Showing up at #2 on the Top 30 list for starting a direct shipping company at the age of 14… I recognized this as the company where I ordered my last two pieces of office furniture.

Take a quick look – you may be surprised at who you recognize on this list as well:

  1. I think that because of the nature computer and people around the age of thirty and under. it seem like these people had a great advantage because of growing up with computers. I say rock on I love it.

    Ditto that ;)

My son is turning 16 in a few months, and I am very pleased at the opportunities available to him. He chose to get into programming a few years ago, and has taken college classes (online) and is already in beta phase with his first project.

They have advantages and opportunities abound, and I think it’s a wonderful thing!

My oldest is 9 and he is earning a little from his blog already. Alice Seba blogged about him the other day because he uses her All Private Label Rights content :)
