hostgator is over priced. Their hosting isn't all that great for what you pay for. I would suggest doing a little searching on the web and you can find the same stuff for much cheaper! Just my 2 cents
I disagree. For under $10/month you can host unlimited domains & websites/blogs on the one account with tons of features and extras. And their service & support is great - its an excellent value.
I've paid much higher pricing for hosting, and I've had much worse service.

I happened along your blog a week or so ago and have been digesting it. We've had an internet business for 9 years but haven't gotten the hang of marketing. We really need to this year, in this economy! I'm learning a lot from your site, as well as ones you have linked. Your honesty and candidness brings a trust factor to your site that I'm sure serves you well. I'm starting another web page this week (on hostgator, thanks for that tip) to bring more civil war buffs to our book store, and will be doing other things as my husband's "affiliate". I had Thirdsphere Hosting for years when I first started online but they had only email support, there was no phone number or live chat, when you have a problem and you're panicking, that's not a good situation, so I switched to Hostgator. Any problems I have now, they're on it. Love them 🙂

I just got done moving the rest of my blogs over to HostGator from GoDaddy. I just couldn't take the slow speeds, the number of sites on one server, and plugins not working because of the way their servers operate. HostGator is fast and is the best for niche marketing. I don't know if they support SOPA or not but SOPA just got tabled so no problems there.
