I am seriously considering switching one of my static html affiliate sites to WordPress. The thought came to me as I was updating my affiliate links on a product-based site where the merchant had switched networks. The site needs an overhaul anyway, and I was considering various template ideas and options, the obvious kept creeping into my mind: WordPress. I dont want to turn it into a blog, but was considering using WP as more of a content managment system…

Your website is your business, and just one great website is a full time job to manage and maintain. And that’s if you consider outsourcing many of the tasks involved. Do it all yourself, and do it all manually… and you might be working 70-80 hours a week!
