Today I’d like to discus the topic of Success Principles and how they apply across the board whether you are aiming for a fitness goal, a business goal, or a life goal.

This isn’t rocket science. It’s not some mystical power. You don’t need to be born with any unique gifts or abilities. Anyone, and I do mean anyone can become a success and live a life to be proud of.

Before we continue with this post I would like to give you a gift. What principles do you think are most closely linked between fitness and business?

We all define success in our own way and that’s super cool. Not all of us desire to be millionaires. Not all of us want six pack abs. Not all of us want a house with a white picket fence, a dog, and two kids. But no matter what your goals are, the principles of success will always apply.

We’ve talked a bit about the importance of taking baby steps when you are starting something new. I don’t expect all of you to complete yesterday’s home office cardio session or the home office workout from the previous day. Do what you can and focus on continuous and consistent improvement.

Celebrate even the smallest of successes. I know that I’ve witnessed many of them already this week. Just allowing the idea that home office fitness can have a significant impact on your online business and profits is reason enough to celebrate. The fact that many of you went out and purchased a stability ball after watching my desk exercise video demonstration a few days ago is a big reason to celebrate.

Success usually doesn’t happen over night. It’s a journey… and I know that sounds so cliche, but it’s true. Enjoy the process. Be proud of all your accomplishments. You don’t need to rush the big successes. Start with the small ones and keep the momentum rolling.

When you are sitting on a stability ball at your desk it’s so easy to take a quickie break and perform these exercises. It’s not an interruption to your workday… it’s a contribution to your online business and the quality of your life.

It’s all about perspective. Are you beginning to change your perspective about fitness? Are you recognizing that 10 short minutes can have a significant impact? Do you see that fitness is so much more than just fat loss? It’s not something that you should ‘try’ to ‘fit in’ your day. It needs to be a priority.

There’s no better success principle than that of gratitude. We all have so much to be grateful for no matter what struggles we may be going through. You have been given the gift of life. Demonstrate how grateful you are for that gift by making the most of it. Live to your potential in all areas of your life. Strive to be the best YOU that YOU can be.
