    Default Niches identification

    Hi Lynn,

In module 1, I have identify 20 niches for my NSB project, some of the niches are :-

    1.internet marketing
    2.affiliate marketing
    3.fb marketing
    4.online dating
    5.forex
    6.bodybuilding supplement
    7.wordpress theme
    8.online gaming
    9.weight loss
    10.men's health product

    My question are :-
    1. Do I need to select only one niche for NSB project?
    2. What should I do after niche-identification process?
    3. Item no. 1 (internet marketing) is my passion, Do I need to drill down further? Does "internet marketing" topic is too general by itself?

    Your input much appreciated.

    Hi Monasa,

Internet Marketing is a topic, not a niche, so yes - you'd need to drill down. That said, to create a following and build a readership at all in that space you'll need experience & proof (results) doing what you teach or share. It's a tough market, and requires having a successful online business of your own to share case studies and stay up to date on what really works (and what doesn't) vs rehashed irrelevant information that is floating around.

Most of the topics on your list sound like typical "make money online" niches, rather than personal interests you want to be elbow-deep in every day. Continue going through the brainstorming exercises and brainstorming. You'll find more exercises and thought provoking ideas for brainstorming in the next module or two as well. *cheers*

That was a lot of niche but I think that is still good so that we can have lot of things to choose and go for.

All those topics are definitely the typical make money online ones. I would choose a topic for something that really interests you and that you can integrate into your life and feel comfortable sharing on social media.

As for Internet marketing, if you have not had success with it yourself, it won't be easy teaching it.

I would start a fresh new brainstorm. What type of things interest you? Things like the outdoors, food, gardening, etc.
