New Perspective, New Perception

I’ve been keeping a close eye on StomperNet over the last year, to the point of attending their last 2 members-only live events (as a guest) to get an inside look. In fact, I just returned from that second event a couple of days ago.
It was an exceptionally productive weekend. I mentioned before that I walked away from the first event impressed. Still unsure about a few things, but definitely impressed. This second time around I got some insight and information that completely changed my perspective…

SNL6: Day Two in Atlanta

Its the second full day of the StomperNet Live6 conference, and its been an eventful weekend already. I sat in on 3 of the 5 sessions on Friday’s schedule: Jerry West, Dan Thies and Howie Schwartz - in that order.
Rich Shefren spoke first thing this morning, which I sat in on briefly before trading that in for breakfast with Sherman Hu, Dave Taylor and Dan Thies. Other than that, I’ve taken it much easier on this second day…

Heading to Atlanta

I’m leaving this afternoon to join Brad Fallon, Andy Jenkins, Ed Dale and the rest of the group at the StomperNet Live6 event in Atlanta, GA. I’ll be arriving between 8 and 9pm eastern time and plan to return late Sunday night or Monday morning.
I got some news yesterday that has me completely psyched about this trip! I cant share it with you just yet, but I’ll work out the details once I get there and talk to a certain someone…

Google Comes To MY Town

On September 15, 2008, Google Inc. will make an appearance at a conference in Nashville, featuring Downtown McMinnville (my hometown) in their presentation. Here’s the scoop, straight from Main Street McMinnville:
Downtown McMinnville will once again take center stage as an example of how they have utilized the power of Google’s 3D technology and software to put themselves on the map. The Governor’s Conference on Economic and Community Development brings together as many as 600 private industry leaders, non-profits, chambers of commerce, development organizations and government officials from rural and and urban areas from across Tennessee to learn about downtown, industrial and community development.
