Today’s suggestion is another interesting one I wouldn’t have come up with on my own: using petitions to grow your mailing list. Petitions have the potential to go viral simply because the issues surrounding petitions are often emotionally charged. People sign them and pass them to their friends to sign them, especially if the issue is very important to them…

Contest Giveaways – creative ideas and practical tips. Whatever you do, don’t offer prizes like cash, iPods, general gift certificates, etc – OR – submit your giveaway to general contest sites.
