Why is my mail never this exciting?!
Mine's usually bank statements and Visa bills!
I get a lot of that too, but I leave out the boring stuff π Maybe I should start opening my affiliate checks on video! lol
Lynn, we need to get you a letter opener π
No doubt LOL... and a box opener too!
So excited you didn't get golf balls, LOL!
haha - Hopefully Tyy is enjoying those π
I've just finished reading Gary Vaynerchuk's Crush It book.
I really enjoyed it.
Can't wait to dig in, I've heard awesome reviews!
Ohh fun stuff! I am taking the Crush It book with me on the plane. Excited to read it. Love all the goodies but I really love big sweatshirts like that. Cute card from them too.
Hopefully the next box was from me....because it does say it was delivered LOL
I'm pretty sure it is - and I can't wait to open it π
I am going to shoot a second video today and I'll share it here as soon as it's uploaded and ready!
Oh cool, can't wait to see what's in the next box π
I can't believe nobody asked who was at the door -lol.
I'll give you a hint:
It wasn't a delusional subscriber this time π
oooh make-up and new hairstyle π
That's one of the coolest snow globes I've ever seen. Hey, is that a profitable niche market? π
I'm betting it is!
I was actually in my office in the morning hours, with full sunlight (my office is a sunroom) so that's probably the lighting making me look different - other than the fact that I hadn't put my hair up yet π
Wow - that is a super cool snow globe! I agree that it has 'you' written all over it!
Gary Vaynerchuk is a real inspiration to me.
His book is soooo inspiring!
Oh wow, that snow globe is so pretty! Angie has great taste π
I agree - It is absolutely gorgeous!! Inside the snowglobe it says:
"Success is a Journey, Not a Destination."
It's so beautiful... I wish I could really capture that on the video!
That snow globe had your name written all over it, Lynn. Kev and I knew it had to be yours when we saw it. I'm glad you like it and I am very excited about NAMS. It's been way too long!
Check mark off one company that knows what they are doing this holiday season. Lately we have had the worst experience with customer service so Things Remembered gets a thumbs up from me!
Thanks for sharing!
Definitely a thumbs-up from this end as well! Will have to see if they have an affiliate program π LOL
Thank you again, Angie - and tell Kevin I said thank you and Merry Christmas as well. You guys are awesome! Have fun on your trip, and I'll see you at NAMS π
I love Things Remembered - they have really nice things! I think I've ordered from the before, too and really was pleased with them!
Your mail time videos are pretty cool, but I know I can't be the only one interested in how you're preparing your editorial calendar right? Would love to get your insight on this process, I'm gathering resources and ideas from problogger, SAH, etc. so I can start 2010 with less overwhelm for my blog. Will you be sharing editorial calendar tips? How far in advance to you plan? Oh, the questions...
This is actually something we are working on this month inside my Private Brainstorming Forum. For years now I have been wanting to get more organized with my content publishing, and have things laid out in advance.
It's a big challenge for me personally, but I am hoping to have my first draft done by tomorrow (Friday). I'll be sure to share more once I have worked out the kinks. Obviously it's going to be unique to each person, depending on the topic & business/blogging model, but there are some good resources in our group thread that I'll share when we're done.
Thanks for the shout-out, Lynn! Hope you like the desktop calendar for 2010. Your readers are also welcome to download the calendar at http://www.dramatic-design.com/desktop-calendar/ if they're interested. I had a lot of fun making it and am happy to share it with everyone.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Looking forward to meeting you in person at NAMS!
Thank you Kim, and thanks for sharing the link here for everyone else to enjoy too! I look forward to meeting you as well - it'll be an awesome weekend π
I love your mail days! (even if my mail box is feeling a little jealous LOL) I love seeing what books you're reading too, I need to add a few of those to my Amazon wishlist so I don't forget about them.
I need to add a new bookshelf to my Amazon wishlist - LOL π
Beautiful snow globe!
Ok, so I was considering sending you a holiday gift, but I see that you're behind in opening your mail... hmmmm....
LOL I was late opening up mail during Oct/Nov as my daughter was really sick for almost 4 weeks π I'm planning to do mail videos every week, or at least 2-3x/month in the new year. They're always fun around here!
Yes, but, will you start singing the "Mail TIME!!!" Pee Wee song??? Hahaha! Man, I loved that show!! Oh yeah, and don't forget to have the mailbox come be-bopping into the room, too! π
LOL - that would pretty much suit my goofy nature! haha
Thank you Lynn for Mail video sharing. You look great with a new look and hair.
I sure will read the book by Gary Vaynerchuk
Have a great day
Thank you James. I'll be publishing a full review on Crush It! here soon so keep an eye out for that!
We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to interview Gary Vaynerchuk at Fame Foundry. Listen to what Gary Vee says about social media.

Excellent - thanks for the link!
I received a package from a vegetarian candy company and when it came in the mail, I thought I would capture it on video to show my (5) readers. And I must have done about 80 takes. lol. Just couldn't get it the way I wanted. So it sat on my Flip for abit. Ha!
But yeah! nice snow globe. Wow! I have a thing for snow globes, I just think they're so pretty. That one you rec'd is a beauty.
We should all pitch in and send you a nice letter opener. Ooh! maybe something huge and wacky. We'll have to come up with an idea of some sort.
Cheers,
Missy
LOL Missy - 80 takes and no video!? π― haha
I do one take, no editing, and let it fly. But that's just me. I am actually looking at some good video editing options for HD and may go with a 13" MacbookPro for that purpose only as I'd like to do some more pro videos going into 2010 and beyond.
For other purposes of course. I just "keep it real" here on ClickNewz π
And yeah - the snow globe is awesome. The video doesn't do it justice!!
This was fun!
A great idea!
You talk several times about it NOT being golf-balls in your mail...
You KNOW what you are going to get now from some people @@ hahahha
I hope you like golf!! π
LOL Jan - actually I got them in my last bunch of packages so it's a joke from my last video haha. Here's the link if you want a good laugh: http://www.clicknewz.com/2173/video-clicknewz-mail-time/ π
Ohhh
I see
Hahahaha
You seem to have more than enough golf balls now!
There is nothing like the look of a "surprised" face opening a present/package.
Almost like Christmas. π
Have a great holiday and if you ever get bored, you know what to do!
Swing it Lynn!!
Crush it! should be a good book. I have it on my Amazon Wish list. Soooo many books and just not enough time. I love your mailbag videos.
Thank you Ken π I'm really looking forward to Crush It! and Trust Agents (by Chris Brogan). I will be publishing a new book review at least once a month throughout 2010 and those two will be at the top of my list!
Hi Lynn! I had no idea (until recently) that you actually opened my card on ClickNewz Mail Time. Thanks so much! I sent the card from my heart and I was really touched watching your reaction when you opened and read it. You made my day (not the 1st time!) and thanks for my 15 seconds of fame π
