Is Your Niche Evergreen?

Examples of evergreen niches include parenting, cooking or recipes, gardening, writing, self improvement, learning music, animals and animal training, farming - even travel and photography.

And those are just a few examples.
The list goes on and on.

Niches that are not evergreen include topics like current news, fashion or technology.

Both evergreen and current niches have their positives, but one of the great things about evergreen niches is the nearly endless source of free content you can use - for your profit...

Specifically content that lies in the Public Domain. Generally speaking, any content created before 1923 falls in the Public Domain. This means the copyright has expired and you are free to copy it and republish it as you please. But there *are* rules and exceptions. And of course, you need to know the sources & resources...

This is where Tony Laidig comes in. He has done AMAZING things with Public Domain content, including a current work on Photography he will be publishing on Kindle soon. We got to see that work firsthand, as a live example, during last week's live webinar - which you can watch here:

Tony has put together an extensive resource titled "Public Domain Blueprint" that not only shows you how to easily find public domain content, but offers a wealth of suggestions on how you can profit from it. Including, but not limited to: creating blog content, info products and Kindle books.

You can learn more about it here:

His detailed blueprint covers all types of public domain content including text, books, magazines, images, patents, audio and video. Again, this content is yours to use freely as you please. It's an awesome, practically untapped resource!

If you haven't had a chance to listen in to the live training session we did last week, you'll definitely want to do that. I walked away with tons of exciting ideas! Others who listened in already have ebooks and Kindle books in progress, that they'll be able to sell online for a sweet profit.

You could actually have your own Info Product or Kindle Book online and selling before the end of the year!

Best,

  1. I'm off to watch the webinar, but while I do that, maybe you can answer a question for me please. I thought Kindle only accepted original content. Did that change? Won't we risk losing our account for selling public domain content?

    • Hi Adriana 😀

Tony actually covers that in the webinar in great detail. The short answer is no, no risk when you follow Tony's blueprint. Let me know what you think of the session - it was great fun!

Hi Lynn, Evergreen niches are perfect for internet marketers. You are right that there is lots of information and these types of niches do tend to have lots of readers or people who are interested. I mean virtually everyone cooks and takes photos. I look forward to reviewing the webinar.

The cool thing about evergreen is that there’s always a potential problem to solve for a new client or customer. Like P.T Barnum said, “There’s a customer born every minute.” Just look at the acne niche. Good Lord, I used acne cream some 15-18 years ago! And it’s still on the market…for a whole new crowd. Guthy Renker just figured out how to turn selling acne cream into a continuity program, that’s all.

Same thing with weight loss, hair loss, ed, travel and on and on. There will always be people who buy products in those niches. Therefore, build your website, get it on the 1st page of Google, build a list with, sell to your list and sell to your visitors. Then…rinse and repeat. Cheers!

  4. Very interesting... never heard a shred about this before. Thanks!

  5. Evergreen is one of the reasons I am thinking of abandoning my technology site to strike out anew... I have to paddle like crazy to stay on top of things in tech and the ROI hasn't been what it should be.

I just hate to think of closing the door on that site with all the work that I have put into it! THAT is one big reason I haven't done it... yet.

    • You have SUCH a great tech site, Marge. It would be a shame to abandon it with it's traffic & profit potential. If it's not something you want to maintain anymore, definitely consider selling instead of just closing. 😉

      • I understand that but you know? I don't even know how to do that and right now it just sounds like one more thing I'd have to take the time to learn... not sure what to do right now and am frozen in place... that's never a good time to make any decisions, so I am in hover-mode.

Thanks for your input. I appreciate your time and expertise.
