Hello Everyone!

My name is Lynn and I am new to this board, although I used to post (and learn a lot) at the old SSWT forum. My name has changed and my life has changed, so I thought I would just create a new profile here. It has been a few years since I have given full-time attention to my websites and blogs, but that has changed recently. I am enjoying my life changes so much! I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning from everyone.

Lynn

Hi Lynn and Angie! Thank you so much!

Lynn, I am working on several blogs. I have rededicated myself to my homeschool website. www.thehealthyhomeschool.com by adding a blog to it. Little by little I am cleaning up the website as well. www.thehealthyhomeschool.com/homeschoolblog

I have a fashion blog. http://dylansdress.blogspot.com and lo and behold it is starting to make some money by way of affiliate links, so I could just kick myself for not putting it in my hosting account to start with. Was just supposed to be fun! I bought the domain dylansdress.com so I am trying to decide how to best handle this. Move it with a sign pointing to new domain. Copy everything there into a new wordpress site hosted with Blue Host or what. Yikes!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Of course I still have a slew of friends at my faithful hangout blog, www.AMothersJournal.com

That's just a few things. I stay busy with my art and Etsy shop as well. :)

I appreciate you so much!

Lynn

Hi Lynn,

What a great blog! It looks like you've been actively blogging at blogspot for a long time. You have great engagement, fun posts, and a lot invested there. And it looks like you have a lot of "connections" within the blogger community itself. While it's ideal to host your own blog, in this case... I wouldn't worry over what's obviously working. You can point your domain name to that blog, to make it easier to give out the address in person or anywhere you have to "say it" rather than type it.

The only advice I have is that you do more keyword targeting (SEO) and for your photos - try taking them outside instead of indoors. Or at least near a window with good natural light. You'll get very clear photos from your iPhone using natural light vs indoor light. :)

Lynn, thank you so much! I have indeed done a lot of blogging there and I have lots of "fashion friends" in the blogger network. I am actually loving blogger as a platform for this particular blog. Again, thank you so much!! XO
