Adding image to post's

Can anyone tell me how to add an image (avatar) for the author/admin in wordpress?
Do I have to sign up with gravitar ?

Yes to add your avatar you'll do that at http://en.gravatar.com/

There is also a plug-in that you can use called easy gravatar by Dugal Cambell.

Hey Chris

Did you get your avatar on your comments okay? If not, try another plugin called Easy Author Image by Jesse Lawson, thats the one that I used and its real simple, after you download it you just activate it and then write a post and your avatar will show up.
