I want to invest but not get scamed

I have heard of a few investments that promise you good money. One of the was the empower network that says you can make a lot of cash blogging for them. Another was an MLM system that is said to give passive income. I really don't know who to believe. Anyone had experiences investing in such things and getting possitive results?

Empower Network has such a bad reputation online already due to spammy marketing practices from such a large number of their members. I'm not sure if this is the method they teach, or just an unfortunate issue. Regardless, from what I understand the only real opportunity is promoting the opportunity. That's usually the case with most MLM type networks.

I don't personally know of anyone that is having positive results. Or making more than they've spent joining such a network. Anyone else care to comment, or pipe in with personal experience?

Have you considered going independent and starting your own website? It's relatively easy, extremely inexpensive (you can set one up for less than $20, usually closer to $10), and there is wide open profit potential - depending of course on your model and topic.

YOu are way better off blogging on your own and making money from your efforts by building your own client base.

Also try to invest some money in marketing your blog. You have to spend coin to make coin.

I don't currently do any paid advertising, Trent - I use all free/organic marketing methods.

simple advice: learn to know the different from traditional marketing and digital marketing because when you start a business you need to understand the basic fundamental of marketing. try to search about growth hacking.

very good points here. If you concentrate your efforts on helping people and providing value, you will not have to sell. people will come to you. It will be much easier to make money online. If you can build those relationships, build that reputation as a giver, someone who people trust, then you find it becomes easier to make money online. Much easier.
