ClickNewz Website Technical Questions

Hi Lynn,

I like the way ClickNewz looks and I'm just curious about it from a technical aspect. Would you be willing to comment on what it's built on and if you do it build and update it yourself.

More specifically, is it created in Wordpress, what theme do you use, and do you create your own sites?

Hi William,

The blog is a custom theme design (outsourced) with the Genesis platform beneath that (the theme was done first, Genesis integrated later - also outsourced). The forum is vBulletin. I outsourced the original setup and customizations. In both cases those tasks were outsourced to members of my private group. I like to pull from our circle when I can.

I do create my own sites, yes. I was running ClickNewz on a free theme with my own customizations for years. My TravelingLowCarb.com blog is running on a free theme (still).
