Hi all,

Been lurking and learning for a while now--thanks for that!--but I can't seem to find an answer to the question of using javascript links versus html on an affiliate site. I read a bunch of stuff (not here) about how CJ recommends javascript and why, and I got that, but my problem is with Internet Explorer, which blocks javascript by default. With about 50% of my traffic using IE, am I better off to use html? I know you can allow javascript to run in IE (I do that) but is that something Average Joe Surfer is going to do?

What do you all think?

Thanks for the input,
Cindy

I use straight html - because it's simple. I've never studied the reasons why you should or shouldn't use javascript, since I haven't used it myself.

Anyone else?

I used html as well. I actually never knew that about Javascript being blocked in IE. I guess I should go check my settings. Thanks for the info. I think the average Joe may not know or even know how to change the settings, so it may be safer to stick with the html.

Thank you ladies! HTML it is. Seems like a lot less hassle to me.
