I've seen many people comment about not being able to use the control key during the weekly brainstorming hour and Tuesday webinar. Thanks to a very nice person (who I can't remember - I'm sorry!), you can fix this! I followed these steps and now I can use the control key during the brainstorming hour and I don't take the mic.

When you are in the webinar room, go the to top left of the screen. Here you will see "File, Actions, View, Options..."
Click on "Options".
Then click on "Configure Talk Key".
The "Configure Talk Key" dialog box will pop up. Choose the key or keys you want to be your talk button.
Click the "OK" button.
Leave the webinar and log back in.

I chose the "Multiple Key Mode" and used "Alt+Shift+T" as my keys to make the mic button work. This means I have to press all three buttons (Alt, Shift, and T) at the same time to turn on the mic. This frees up my control key so I can copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) as much as I want without causing any mic issues!

***** VERY IMPORTANT *****
After you have made the changes MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE THE WEBINAR! The changes won't be in effect until you have left the webinar and logged back in.

I hope this helps!

Thank you! :)

This is a big issue for me, so I'll be sure to bring this up in future webinars and reference your post. Very much appreciated!

No telling how many times I've grabbed the mike without meaning to. Great to know how to change this.
