Hi, My name is Rich and I'm so glad I heard about Lynn from Mark Mason (@Masonworld). It was great to be on the webinar yesterday with many of you.

I've been debating about my site name and tagline, and I'm wondering if anyone might have suggestions.

My URL is www.lifecompassblog.com. I've been calling the site "Life Compass" in the header, do you think I should change it to "Life Compass Blog" since that is what the URL is? Or isn't that so important? Also, is the "Life Compass" name a good fit for my purpose (which I'll explain next)?

My goal is to have a site where I can give tips and strategies to help people live on purpose, achieve their dreams, and create more freedom and fulfillment in their life and work." In fact, I've used this as the tagline. I'm wondering...is this too long for a tagline...or does it communicate too much?

My site will cover topics like how to find the work you were meant to do, how to make change in any area of life, goal acceleration, lifestyle design, how to start your own business, work-life balance, etc.

Another thought I've had for a tagline is this: "Helping You Set a Course for the Life (or Lifestyle) You Want." This plays off the "compass" theme.

Does anyone have any ideas to help me clarify how I should brand this?

I just got started with it last month, so before I do anything else with header design and other layout/design work, I thought I'd better seek help re: clarifying the name and brand. Thank for whatever suggestions you can offer! :)

Hi Rich - Glad you joined us :)

What is your Primary Keyword Phrase for the main page of your blog/domain? Meaning what do you most want that index page to rank highly for in the major search engines?

Hi Lynn, thanks for your quick reply. I haven't really targeted anything yet.

At first, I was going to target "Lifestyle Design" but from the little I know about how to do SEO, those words didn't seem to be as popular as I thought they'd be.

"Get motivated", "life balance", "work life", "personal growth", "self improvement", "personal success" all seem to be possibilities.
