've been researching, studying and devouring as much as I can on IM for several months now and I'm really glad I found this site. I've joined a couple of other forums, but find that their 'advice' is often quite negative. I'm insecure enough about this that I don't need any additional pessimism and discouragement!
Except for a COBOL class I took in college (yes, I'm THAT old), my background does NOT include programming or web design. And this lack of knowledge has caused a rather bad case of analysis paralysis. I'm hoping that you guys will be able to lead me a little in the right direction (the number of hours I've spent 'playing' on wordpress is a shocking waste of time that could be devoted to other things that might lead to some actual money). I am also going to join the Elite group, hoping that will also give me a jump start and, perhaps more importantly, provide a certain level of support and encouragement that is so hard to find when one works at home. (My husband fully supports my new endeavor, but is clueless, barely knowing how to access his emal :D).
I look forward to getting to know you all and hope that I can contribute something valuable here, too.
