ok.I have one, two many sites to deal with(yes, that was a deliberate mispell or a play on words). Here it goes. I would love to sell a couple of my sites.

I have been doing some research and I think I understand the concept, it's just one of my sites doesn't make money as it is a donation site. And the other site, doesn't have many visitors as I have only submitted 2 articles into one directory and that is it for marketing(was supposed to be my son's 2 yrs ago)

So, how would I determine what to sell them for? Tons of youtube videos with some ezine articles on the one, and tons of info/content on the other one.

Maybe if anyone wants to take a peek and give me some ideas, tips, recommendations?

http://jpcskateboards.com (new header being designed right now by my hubby)

thanks to all.

no idea how much you would charge. I know some people sell them on ebay. why not check it out and see if you can get any ideas. Too bad that one is a .info. Lynn mentioned recently that .info's are often used by spammers, so they aren't as much in demand. But you never know.

That skateboard one could do well. You've done a great job on it since last time I was there. You should mention that the JPC stands for Just Plain Crazy. Sure you want to sell it?

You might have a look at flippa.com and zero.com. Flippa used to be sitepoint, but they set up a new site for buying and selling websites. Godaddy also lists domains and sites for sale - maybe check with your registry company. I'm afraid that I agree that a .info domain with no traffic and little or no content is probably not going to sell, but the skateboard site might do well at flippa. Good luck!

lol. I was thinking that I would sell the jpc site, but right now looking at the new finished header my hubby just made, I may think twice. I guess the .info are not worth it then. Thanks for your help.
Guess if I kept them, having 6 websites isn't too bad to keep up with is it?

Flippa is an auction format. You could consider listing the skateboard site with a reserve. If it sells, you got at least what wanted for it - maybe more.

I would recommend Flippa also. Another great resource on website flipping is Justin Brook. He has an entire home study course devoted to website flipping. You can find out more about it at https://sitefling.cartfreak.com/go/1/38/. You can also follow Justin on twitter at @justinbrooke

I sold 2 sites after following Justin. I have not taken this home study course but have heard great things about it.

btw, just looked at the skateboard site. I love the look of it. I am thinking you can jazz up the products page, add a video page and show some skateboarding tricks videos, add some pictures to your posts, and maybe even a free download on a skateboarding topic in order to build a list and you will have somethign that could probably sell for abt $250. But ask Justin, he will definitely give you a fair opinion.
