Can anyone point me to a free word Doc to PDF creator that still keeps the clickable links in it. I do not mean just the http://www.yourdomain.com links

but redirected links Like Go here or product name

I have tried some free online converters but they do not keep the links in other than a http/www format

Hi Russell,

If you have Word, I used to use http://www.PDF995.com

There is a separate download to convert the links, and some extra steps for hyperlinks with anchor text.

The super easy way to do it is to use http://www.openoffice.org (free office suite). Open your document in their Writer (word document) and simply go to File > Export as PDF. It retains all hyperlinks, of any kind.

yes, I love Open Office and it is becomingly more and more popular so I don't even worry about using for my business and wondering if I should create and send my clients a text doc as well for their projects.

Lynn

Thanks so much for that it was the only hurdle I had left to get my first Ebook finished and out into the clickbank market place.

Its funny I knew of open office but until you said go there I was trying all other places.

I sourced and rewrote the Ebook from PLR material and my own added content, I used material from four other sources.

I used Michael from sharppixel for covers so this forum has been a great source of information for me.

Thanks again Lynn

Excellent - great progress!

And I agree, it's a great source for me as well. We have 2 great designers on board, an audio transcriber, writers - it's great! I tap into it all the time myself :)
