Welcome D.

It would be great if you would introduce yourself so we can get to know you better.

As for your website, there are way too many banners and ads on it. Not many people ever just click on a banner/button ad to shop anymore. Your site needs more content. It seems you have a pretty good keyword phrase "mall outlet" in your title bar but I don't see that phrase anywhere else on your main page.

I clicked on your health/wellness section and all I see are banners. Definitely need to work on adding content to pull your readers in and share the benefits of your mall and how they can benefit.

Those are just a few things I noticed to start. Hope it helps!

How would anyone except you find this site? How would they search for it on google, for example?

If you are the only one who knows how to find it, your purchases will be the only ones that occur through your affiliate links. Also, I believe that many (most?) merchant TOS disallow you from generating a commission from your own purchases.

I'm glad you joined the forum - it's a wonderful place to learn.

I agree with the previous posters, too many banners, too many possiblites, very little content. You need to decide what you want to focus on, then obtain keywords for that niche, use the keywords in your content(in a natural language way, don't just stuff keywords in willy nilly)

I agree with all said. It hurts the eyes actually. You do need content. Even if you had an articles section where you used ezine content or re-wite plr articles.

If you would like to make money, narrowing down the choices is better. I realize you want a mall that sells a lot, but if that is the case, create small square graphics then a text link underneath the pic to click on.

If you want to use these, you should check in popshops.com to see if these companies are part of it. Commission Junction, Shareasale, Linkshare, and now more added all have companies included for affiliate products.

Popshops will allow you to create an orderly look and feel with products you would like to promote.

Welcome D :)

Here is a free SEO guide, less than 100 pages, and it's the model I use myself: http://www.seofaststart.com It's written by Dan Thies, a professional SEO.

Hi D., nice to meet you.

My suggestion would be to take a clue from the mall that you link to (the Monkey Jar one). It's all neatly organized with images that are all the same site and grouped into categories. When you land there, you know what's available and can fine where to go next. You have just a few seconds to catch someone's attention and let them know that there's something on your site for them. If they can't see it right away, they'll just click away.

Read the SEO guide that Lynn pointed you to so that you can incorporate the techniques while you work on your site. And then get your site in order before you spend a lot of time or money on increasing site traffic.
