I've tried looking other places, so I will ask this here. I have a group set up for SSWT members, but it seems to updates only when it feels like it and will only hold about 4-6 posts.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong, or how I can fix this?

Steve,
Tweetdeck on my end has been having some issues this past week so maybe it's just Tweetdeck. There really isn't much we can do about it I don't think. Yesterday and today my mentions column is empty off and on LOL

Maybe make sure you have the most current updated version.

Tweetdeck is buggy and very fickle in my opinion. Sometimes it works great, sometimes not at all.

I still use it, though, because it's better than the next best thing. :(

Mine is working fine this week. Are you using the latest version?

Also, I have to totally exit out of it sometimes and restart it - if it does stop updating for some reason. Like when Twitter goes down - I have to restart my TweetDeck to get it going again.

I am using the latest version. I have a group all set up for SSWT and that's the group it seems to hate the most and, I might add, your posts in particular, Lynn! I will see then in the all friends, but I miss most of those. I really monitor the groups.

Thanks for reminding me to set up a group for sswt members. I am going to explore this on Hootsuite and will let you know how it goes. Seesmic, Tweetdeck, PeopleBrowsr, I can't seem to get comfortable with any of them.
Best for now, Mary

I have an Elite group setup on Seesmic. I have totally gotten used to using this program. Seems to update the group properly.

I find myself going back and forth with TweetDeck and Seesmic. I just can't settle on one, LOL. I do have my Elite group setup in Seesmic though and haven't had any problems with updates so far.

Tweetdeck has been buggy for me too this week. It doesn't seem to update well. I have uninstalled and reinstalled...maybe they are working out some issues.

Groups in TweetDeck only update when someone tweets something new. So if you closed down TweetDeck completely, then re-opened, your Groups column would be blank until someone who has been assigned to that Group tweets something.

Also, Groups don't seem to have the same tweet limit as other columns - meaning you can adjust in the settings how many tweets you want visible per column; but Group columns don't seem to abide by those settings. Not sure if it's a bug, or designed that way.

Also, if you have the compose box open at the top, less tweets are visible in the Groups columns; but opening the compose box does not effect my All Friends, Replies or DM columns.

I find that Seesmic is a stable and updated program, it works fine I think it is a bit of a resource hog if you have a few programs open but you can set it to minimum panels and it ticks away.

I totally agree with "watzzupsport". Seesmic never fails.
