We would like to have a quiz in the sidebar of one of our WP blog (Thesis Theme) with niche related questions created by us.

Anyone have suggestions on how to do this?

Thanking you in advance.

Here's some more plugins you might check out. I haven't used any of these, but I'd try the 5 starrers first.

Hi Janice,

The most powerful tool I have ever found is the one I decided on for my site at http://consultantsupplyroom.com. It is called DWSurvey and is available from some folks at Dominion Web (http://www.dominion-web.com/products/dwsurvey/)

Their support is poor, but the survey is the only one I found in it's price range that let's you build questionnaires with variable paths ... meaning a different response for each answer. That is extremely powerful if you wnt to "lead" your visitor to the "correct" way of thinking. Specifically, if you want to lead them to a "yes" by asking a series of tie-down questions.

I think it is under $30 ... and a steal at that price.

Sure beats a simple yes-no poll.

After discussing quizzes here, I became intrigued by the idea and spent awhile toying with the Quizzin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quizzin/) plugin. For a free quiz tool, it's not bad. It's intended for use in page or post, though and I could not get the code to work in a text widget. It gives you plenty of text formatting control and you can insert images. It does multiple choice quizzes with any number of choice or questions. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the way it shows scores. It just puts up a paragraph and if you wanted to change the variables you'd have to modify the PHP code.

I could see using quizzes like this in WordPress to draw traffic and involve readers. Here's the just-for-fun quiz I did at my little Movie Machine Blog:
