Help! Best Place to Post Free Classified Ads

I've see many sites that claim that they are the best place to post free ads and that 1,000's will see your ad but they don't seem legit or effective.

Can anyone recommend the best place to post free classifieds?

Instead of trying a different classified ad site, let's see if we can get to the root of the problem. If an ad doesn't perform, there's usually a reason why. Perhaps the ad is poorly written. Have you ever read any books or articles on how to write a classified ad? If you haven't, that should be your next move. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time on free classified sites. They almost never work. After learning how to write an ad, I'd invest a few dollars in advertising in a proven ezine like DEMC. (http://demc.com)
