1% commission affiliate offer

OK, maybe I am way off base but why would you sign up for an affiliate program that only offers 1% commission? I'm baffled...first I thought it could be a mistake then that same person has a 2nd offer with 2.8%. I guess I just don't get it. I really like what they have to offer but I could make more promoting via my Amazon aff link.

Can anyone explain?

1%???? Wow, and I thought Amazon was the lowest percentage on the web. I think I'd probably move on or use the Amazon link instead if it was available on Amazon. It really just seems bizarre to only offer 1%. :(

I with the others Angie - if you can find the same thing elsewhere - and this isn't a big ticket item - I'd simply move on.
