Hi Everyone
I am very excited.
I am most fortunate, that Lynn has kindly agreed to let me interview her on a secret new project I am working on (well they know about it in the Elite (http://www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/169.html)forum ;) ). But once she said yes I though "Oh no, I am starting at the top  What do I ask her?"
I figured that you guys would have heaps of questions for her.
So I wanted to know; what do you want to know about Lynn Terry?
I look forward to hearing your questions and suggestions about what to ask her.
PS: No marriage proposals :p I'm sure the answer would be no!!! :D
Cheers
Leigh

Does Lynn work 7 days a week? What does she do for fun and relaxation? Does she always have a computer with her? When is she accepting marriage proposals?:D

While personal details/proposals are always crowd pleasers, I think some meaty IM tips would be in order, too.
You might ask Lynn to outline her process of starting up an ecommerce-style affiliate website, in whatever amount of detail she'd care to give. Many of us have heard her speak of this before, but we always learn something new when she discusses it.
Also, Lynn often talks about the the importance of writing free/cheap reports in marketing. Since she mostly deals in physical products, I've been curious as to how reports figure into marketing products like, say, "Elvis bobbleheads".

lol Stephen Obi-Lynn!! - Lynn has a new name!
Leigh - I think for me I am always fascinated to hear how Lynn has kept balance, being a single parent, and working online.
I love it when she talks about FOCUS - and "putting blinders on" - it always helps me. So maybe you can ask her for tips or a checklist of how to get that focused! Can it be learned? Also - is there a way to tell WHAT you should focus on? Does she have any techniques or ways to drill down to 1, 2 or 3 most important things, especially for new Affiliate Marketers.
If I think of other questions, I'll post them here.
I'm sure it will go great!

Wow this is great stuff, certainly a much broader perspective than I was expecting. Keep it coming as I would think Lynn will also be inspired for blog and article topics out of these suggestions.
Chris ... dude, I wouldn't hold my breath but I will take a waiting list if you like :) ... wonder how we make an affiliate product out of that??? LOL

Leigh,
I would ask Lynn about the following question: You have talked about easy ways to make money on the Internet such as writing a $7.00 report. What would be your inspiration and process to write a $7.00 report and where would you promote it for a micro niche?
Hope that helps,
Mike

Would you really take a list and select a proper suitor for me, Leigh?
I may have to hire you :) lol
You are all making me laugh here - and I love the questions that are coming up. This should make for a very fun interview!
Keep them coming ;)

Leigh
I'd ask Lynn:
What drives her to keep at the top?
Has that purpose changed/evolved over the years? How?
Thanks :)

If marrying Lynn is really off the table I would have to go with my second choice. She talks about having other sites that she uses pen names for. I'd love to see more about one of these sites. Especially dealing with phyisical products and how she sells them.

Hi Dr. Mani! - Great to see you here. I know I was on your mailing list at one time (I learned from Lynn to focus, focus - so at one time I cut back on my subscriptions) -- but you are also famous in internet marketing circles. Diana

I think a raffle is a great idea Leigh.:D I am volunteering to set that up.(That way I can stuff the box and fix the odds!)
For Lynn: What are the best ways to come up with post topics for one's blog? What are the top 5 things you focus on in your business?
This is fun and I hope I don't miss the interview or eventual raffle!

Another question. When considering using Twitter for marketing purposes, how do you determine who to follow and who not to follow and why?
Take good care, Chris

I'd like to know what makes Lynn prefer product-based ecommerce style affiliate sites over other types of affiliate sites? Also why doesn't Lynn use PPC? Also what % of her income comes from her other sites versus clicknewz/sswt. Curious minds want to know :-).
Ton of great questions on this thread. Looking forward to hearing the interview!

We did Chris, did you miss it?
I agree Brad there is so much here, it might turn into whatdoyouwanttoknowaboutlynn.com
It is going to be hard to decide what to ask her first, I am really looking forward to this.

The truth? It gives me an instant migraine, at first sip. There are only two wines I've tried (out of many) that don't trigger a migraine - both whites - and so I stick with those. ;)

LOL, this is silly and productive all at the same time. Chris I think we would have a ball having a chat one day you are very funny.
Jeffery, I am not sure that Lynn will know the answer to you Pooh problem ... I hope you haven't been living with it for a long time ;) But I will ask ... maybe if there is a Pooh bobblehead she will know.
Lynn I had better get on and book a time with you so we can get the life and time of Lynn Terry recorded :D
Thank you to everyone for your fabulous input.

You're very gracious, Diana. Thank you :)
In some circles, longevity is itself a "claim to fame" - and I've been
around since 1996 ;)
Glad that Lynn's advise to focus is helping you, too. Yes, focus is key
to everything.
Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

OK sorry for the delay, a little illness got in the way, but the interview is now live and available on Twitter Business Women for all to hear.
Lynn and I chatted for so long, I am betting she is glad it wasn't a two part ;)
I can reveal one secret little detail that wasn't in the interview, that was said off air... Lynn and I cracked up laughing when we both admitted - when we read each others written content, we imagine it in our heads with each others accents :) Maybe you had to be there :p
Anyway the interview is good, thanks for all your input, I did try to get a site name out of her but she is tough. Hope I covered off your topics.

PS: We did the raffle draw, and had to keep drawing as no one claimed their prize finally we decided Lynn will stay a single gal ... for now anyway ;)

I've been getting into doing emails through interviews lately and I like to ask these types of questions. They're very common, but they do get at the important nuggets.
1. What are the top 3 pieces of advice you'd give someone who is getting started in an Internet business?
2. What are some of the most common mistakes you see new Internet entrepreneurs make?
3. Which books do you think provide the most business savvy?
4. What are the personal qualities that can make an entrepreneur successful?
... and so on. Hope this helps. Also, Susan Bratton, of Dishy Mix, has a short Talk Show Tips email tutorial you can sign up for.
