I don't normally like to start threads about posts I've written, but I recently wrote a post about how Blogger's and small business owners can use Facebook for traffic generation and engaging their readers, and it's gone hugely popular, and so I wanted to share it with you here because apparently it's very helpful.

It was actually mentioned on an American Express site about Word of Mouth Marketing for Small Businesses.

Ok, I posted a comment on the blog, but when I typed in html, it rendered it instead of chowing you the code. I'm hoping I can type it in here and it will show you what you should put.

Ok, inside the FBML application's field, place this at the top:


<style type="text/css">
span { margin-left: 20px }
</style>

Lastly, whereever you want the text moved over, just wrap span tags around it, like so:


<span>Text you want moved over.</span>

Thanks Pat. If it lines up ok for you when you see it, then I might just leave it. Thinking about it - perhaps it just looked wrong to me because I am on a netbook, and it was zoomed in too close!

You are right about an image, and will put one on there when I have one ready to go. I have gone in and bolded the first line (that's my SECOND piece of code I have learnt for the day after learning the paragraph one - hey, am getting the hang of this!) but have no idea how to do the arrow!

This internet marketing business is a very slow process when you are learning each step, but it's great to be able to follow along on journeys like yours to see it can be done...
