Hi guys,

can someone please explain what "diluting the keyword phrase in the Anchor Text" means?

Let's say I am trying to rank for "Golf Ball" and then I use keywords, "Golf Ball Colors" is this what diluting the keyword means?

Yes - it means adding more to the keyword phrase, or changing the order of words.

That said, you do want natural variation. If ALL of your inbound links have the exact same anchor text, it will be seen as link spam.
