Hello!
I need to put up an audio link on an html page.
I have the mp3 file here.
How do I put it up so that my visitors can both stream it and download it?
This is probably such a simple question, but I'm totally stumped!:rolleyes:
Thanks,
Ellen

If it's just a standard HTML page, and not a CMS like Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.
One way to do this is to upload the mp3 file to your web hosting file area, and then place a link on your page pointing to the mp3 file on the web server. This wood allow them to download the mp3 file, and play it.
There are other ways, but this one is a simple one, that may work for you.:)

Thanks, Mike!
I really would like a little player button on my html page, that they can press "play" "pause" etc, in addition to being able to download it.

There are all sorts of players that you can use to do this. Some are harder then others to setup. The best way to find one you would like to use, is to Google "Embedded Audio Player" then look for the one that will work on the type of page you are wanting to use it on.
Here is a link to the Yahoo Player just to give you an Idea: http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/
There are also Podcasting services that have there own embedded players for there service, like PodBean.com (https://www.podbean.com/).
There's a link at the very bottom of there home page, that shows there embeddable players
Like I said, there are lot's of ways to go, but I hope this gets you started.
