I don't really have much helpful information to provide, just wanted to let you know I am in much the same boat as you. I have decided to use Ed Dale's 30 day challenge to get me moving in the right direction. Here is the link if you want to check it out: http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/
Good Luck!!

There's quite a few things you can do. :) Some are really easy, some are a little more complicated.

The easiest ~ if you're really new and don't have a lot of cash to spend is to set up a lens on Squidoo. You can link to your product from there, add some content about the product ~ some reviews, some benefits, maybe a video of the product in action.

Then you can build some links pointing to the lens to help it gain traction in the search engines.

Here's an entire series of step by step tutorials on how to do this (http://www.internetmarketingformommies.com/articles). Just follow through the product lens creation process section.

If you want something that is more "yours" you can do the very same thing except put it on a wordpress site you host yourself.

No matter where you go the process is the same pretty much.

Hope that helps.

I would find a niche I was interested in, start building a list, start building a relationship with the subscribers and then sell products that your subscribers would be interested in.
