Happy New Year!

"If You Keep On Doing What You've Always Done, You'll Keep on Getting What You've Always Gotten"

What will you do different in 2010 to take your business to the next level?

There are so many incredible resources available to all of us here on this forum! Make a plan to change just one thing in your business and you will see how just doing one thing differently can have a significant effect on your success!

What will I do different? Outsourcing, scaling and systemizing.

I finally gave up some of my "control freak" tendencies at the end of 2009 and started using Traci Knoppe's Outsourcing Service, Your Web Tech Team (http://budurl.com/ex2v) (fyi-that is my affiliate link) and it has saved me time, money and Advil (from the headaches I was getting trying to figure things out!).The scaling and systemizing will fall into place around the outsourcing and team building. Basically, I want to make 2010 a year of building community around my business...that's what I am going to do different.

The other thing I will be doing is making a point everyday to add value to the communities I belong to including this one!

What about you? What will you do different in 2010?

To you success...

One thing that I want to do is waste less time. I find that I spend a lot of time finding things to do rather than complete the things that already need to be done.

I have already begun organizing and planning the year out and working toward that goal. I have never been very good and following the plan, but this is business and it has to be so it will be.

I am going to make it a point to write articles everyday and submit them to ezine articles. I want to make this a daily habit as well as implement different methods of marketing that I have learned.

Also I am going to get organized and stay organized so that I can focus better and also have a day to day action plan that I will follow.

Yes, I'm a procrastinator and time waster. I always seem to know what should be done when I'm away from my computer. The instant my seat in the chair, I'm checking email accounts, following leads on new stuff, looking for pens, taking the dogs out, doing dishes, rearranging the office, checking emails . . . following leads . . .

I want to become more focused, organized, and motivated to follow through on at least one project that will bring in some cash no matter how small that is at first.

More residual income. :)

My primary goal for 2010 is to setup my systems and processes so that I can let my Team handle more of the work and me doing more managing than working. I will eventually work my way into hiring a manager to handle the day-to-day running of my outsource company.

[See, it is possible to have a service based business that doesn't work ya to death. ;) ]

My main second goal is to increase my passive affiliate income.

Focus, Focus, Focus! Stop getting sidetracked by other things and build a passive income stream so that I can finally quit my JOB!

My answer is straight out and simple. My goal is to do something every day. Something to move me forward, however short the distance or however small the something.

I've cut out a LOT of STUFF from my business in 2009 and 2010 is when I'm going to go for what I really want. I want to call myself a 'real' internet marketer by the end of 2010.

Right now I couldn't get by without my services income, I want the services I do to be a choice, not an obligation, by the end of the year.

So what will I do differently:
- I'll be obsessively watching my stats and my finances to get to my goals.
- I'll be writing more content then ever and submitting it out to the net (ezine articles, guest blogging, websites, etc)
- I'll be getting more serious about my podcast and providing my guests with more tools to let their people know about their show.
- I will big time be building incoming links - something I've never really been serious about until now!

The other thing I want to do is toughen up. Working desperately on my self confidence.

Yep, you don't have to be perfect to profit as I always say. We're ALL a work in progress. :)

((Hugs)) and a BIG KICK IN THE BUTT to all.

Thanks, Nicole - I needed that!

I'm going to work with FOCUS this year. Last year - the last two actually - I was working, but it was basically marking time without any clear direction. In the past couple of months it has all come together in my head - and I'm ready to reach some goals.

I will:
1. Go to NAMS (Niche Affiliate Marketing Seminar) in Atlanta, Georgia - in 4 weeks - getting excited about that. I will meet about 150 participants and 20 Leaders, and out of them, I feel like I "know" at least half - since I've been on many teleclasses and forums etc. with so many of them.
I think half the participants come from Lynn's Elite Forum here!!
This will be amazing, to meet so many people in person after 7 years on the internet, talking with some of them even that long! (2003 I was on Jeff Herring's TeleClasses)

2. Unsubscribe to many, many newsletters, since I get sidetracked all the time. So many wonderful things out there, but I need to focus and declutter.

3. Use what is on my hard drive - PLR that I've paid for that has sat there for 2 or 3 years

4. Write and submit more articles, write and post to my blogs much more.

5. Learn and grow and continue to expand my horizons - and earn more passive income.

6. Sunrider Mediterranean Cruise in May 2010 - 500 Sunrider Leaders from Europe, Israel, Australia, Canada and United States - can't wait!! I have earned the Travel Incentive Fund for high Customer sales and bonuses within my group in 2009.
http://diana1.com/sunrider-mediterranean-cruise-may-2010/

7. Focus on my Sunrider business online and offline, and take myself to higher levels of income.

2010 here I come and it's great to be on this path with all of you!

One of my goals is to write more content too. I really would like to write more for article directories but also not get side tracked and keep my blogs updated.

Also working with keywords more that's something that I haven't been doing in the past. The blog post that Lynn did about keywords was very helpful and I intend on referring to it if I have any problems.

Stop checking the news all day. If something important happens, someone will tell me about it!

For me 2009 was all about learning, watching, and listening. Now, in 2010 I'm ready to do, act, implement, and earn. By the end of this year I'd like to see some passive income coming in from affiliate marketing efforts and I want to start seeing those changes in my family's lifestyle.

What will I be doing differently? Everything!

2010 is going to be a life changing year for me. I know exactly what I want and I'm moving full steam ahead! I'm done daydreaming at the day job and making things happen. I feel this is the perfect time and everything keeps falling into place.

I realize how short life is and I want to make a career out of something I'm passionate about rather than working for a paycheck doing things that fall into my lap. I'm creating my own destiny.

If it was only about the money, I would have quit long before now! LOL

2010 changes

-More networking and surrounding myself with others with similiar aspirations.

-Organizing and streamlining tasks to meet specific goals (rather than chasing rabbits all over the Internet).

-Treating my business as a business with a business plan, business structure, marketing plan, clients, and etc.

-Get in the mindset of being successful rather than hoping to be successful.

For me focus is going to be the big change. I've been all over the place in my businesses. I've decided to focus on one niche and bring it to fruition. Focus on taking action via the plan I've actually mind mapped out in one niche and quit being distracted by so many ideas. That will get me to my goals, which are also in writing.

Since 2009 was a year to work on the Internet as much as I liked, 2010 will be very different. I will be watching my two small grandchildren until at least April, so my goal is to work less hours and be smarter about how I spend my time. I started outsourcing in 2009 and plan to do a lot more this year.

I'll be giving two or three hour workshops a couple of nights a week plus working on my info product creation and membership site whenever I can. My blogs are in once a week maintenance mode or being outsourced to my daughter.

I need to create some systems and think I better pick Traci's brain about how to do that.

Take more action
Take all my ideas & actually implement them one-by-one
Earn more passive income
Find a coach/mastermind group
Get out of my own way
Stay accountable

WOW--thanks everyone for the awesome responses here! Looks like focus is a huge goal for 2010 for so many people! Nicole Dean has a great point with residual income too! I am certainly going to take advantage of those affiliate links I've been sitting on!

Looking forward to an incredible 2010 for everyone!

Hey!

I just realized...you guys all answered my "Tuesday Twitter Question" for this week:

Q 4 U: 2010 will be different because...???

I don't suppose anyone would like to say the same in a comment on my little ol' post?
