Music Royalties

Hi

I am interested in using background music on an audio product I am creating. I have no intention of creating original music for that... ;)

How do I go about adding songs or other music I like, as far as royalties go? Is mentioning who the creator is enough, or do I need some sort of permision?

I forget the URL, but there is a site that has a list of public domain and royalty free music files you can use. I'm sure someone more organized than me has it bookmarked and will share.

I googled (donno why I didn't think of that earlier... :p) "royalty free music" and easily found a site by that name.
