Hi,

I have a question on the new package (5000 backlinks)

I did the first step of entering my website in the [domain] section and my keywords in the [anchor] section and then I copied and pasted it into a new post on blogspot.com. I already have a blog with them so I just entered a title on the new post and posted it. When I checked it it just had the kewords listed over and over again and that was it. Is that how it's supposed to be? It just looked really strange. What's making me a little nervous I guess is I used to be on the first page of google and now I can't find my website at all. I did this about 2 hours ago. Maybe it's too early.

Also, I left the brackets around my website. Do I have to re-do and re-submit?

Any thoughts?
Mary

Mary,I saw an earlier post asking about the brackets and I think Lynn replied to take out the brackets. I will try to find that post.

Mary the post is the first advertisement of the 5000Backlinks in the comments. It is below and you DO leave the brackets OFF hope this helped

Lynn,
Not to sound like a real amateur but when I replace the [DOMAIN] with my site: I leave the brackets off, correct?
Thanks,
Tess

Hi Mary and welcome. I didn't realize you were new here. Everyone's so helpful here. Ask as many questions as you like and someone can answer them.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome! I'm actually an old member who hasn't been around lately. I'll try to change that.

Because I left the brackets on should I redo it? I'm still curious about the blog post. All it had was my keywords. Is that how it's supposed to look?

Your blog post should look like a normal blog post...would you like to show the post you made with the backlink?

I can't figure out how to post it here but basically what I did was copy and paste the edited special.txt file. That's all that was in the new post plus a headline that I put on it. Al that came out was the key words on every line.

How about popping the domain name here so that people can see the blog?

Well you really need someone bought the same package to comment here but what you have in that post is a repetition of a keyword without any surrounding content.

Any search engine would see that as "keyword stuffing" - which means the overuse of a keyword to "fool" the search engines.

And that is not what you intend...we want to please the search engines and we do that by posting good articles with links to them from different websites with a good keyword phrase as anchor text.

It looks to me like you've misunderstood the instructions in the packet...

As I said it needs someone who bought the backlinks pack to happen along here but just ask your self mary - what would your reader learn from this post?

Actually ~ that is one of the special extras included in the package. The special file is really more for getting a site indexed I think. You also don't want to put this post on your "main" blog, but as I understood it you want to set up a new "free blog" to do that. My post looked exactly the same (minus the brackets the second time around lol).

Thanks Alex & jackie. Alex, that was my feeling as well. Of course I didn't want the search engines to see this as some kind of "spam tactic" I guess I'm just not clear on this yet. I'm just going to delete that from my blog.

I hope someone can clear this up. My post looked just like that also. just a repeat of my keywords.

These are not "normal" blog posts. This is a tactic you do on a free blog to get a new site indexed and get some backlinks. You don't do it on your "real" blog because it will just show up as a list of keywords.

Yes it is ~ you just don't want to do it on your main blog ~ but make a new free blog to do it on.

I clicked on it and the page is not found?

I did this step also and it showed all of my clickable keywords that I used repeated. I believe that this is correct.

Make sure to take out all of the brackets and use the main keyphrase for your site.

The post is not really spam content. As explained in the indexing guide it has a specific purpose. Check out the paragraph or two following step 4. This should help clear it up a little bit. I have done this and have gotten several backlinks to my site.
