How Many Domain Names Do You Own?

This should be fun! I had more domains but let quite a few go last year to save money. Anyhow, my current domain name count is 29. Almost all of these domains are websites but a few.

How many do you own?

I have 293 and with 3 active and a few with one post. II also have a few that are redirects. I want to sell a few, yet it is a process. Each one was a business idea when I bought it or a collection of my name like coachclay.com clayslist.com etc.

With 293 domains, you definitely beat me. I sure don't envy your yearly domain costs, LOL!

This time last year I had somewhere between 35 and 45 domain names. Most of which were just sitting there collecting dust and doing nothing. When I started to focus on getting things done, I cut anything that I didn't need, even if I thought it was an awesome domain name ... and now I have around a dozen domain names left and I've been resisting the urge to buy a new domain every time I have an idea.

Great question. I have around 20 or so. A few are my sites and a few are relative's sites. I have a personal policy to keep them for around 2 years and if I don't create a site within that time I let them go so others can use them. I do have to admit that a few ideas seem so great (to me) that I keep a few around for more than 2 years. But the more I read this forum and get into the philosophy of "start to profit," the easier it is to let some go.

I think I have 10 or 12. Some I will be letting go of since they are cheapie .info ones and not suitable for the purposes I had in mind. I have 6 active ones, although every domain has a website set up on it with some content. This year, I will mainly be concentrating on 3 websites consistently so am thinking of letting all the others expire.

I couldn't imagine wanting to try to maintain 293! wow. I was thinking up to 25 was all I could handle. I guess it depends on what you do with them. As affiliate marketers, it is often critical to have many. As a service biz owner, I don't find the need so important.
