Read More/Continue Reading WP Categories

When you pick click on a category on someones Wordpress page, you see a list of all their posts with the 1st paragraph of the post usually. Some have a ...read more or Lynn has 'Continue' button on ClickNewz.com. What good WP plugins are there for that purpose?

Christian,
No plug in needed if you want to use the insert more tab. If that is what you're looking for so the whole blog post doesn't show up, in the visual tab look in the top row, my button is 4th from the right. I just started using it and click on that button where I want to stop the post on the main blog page.

What about one for a category page? The 'more code' doesn't seem to stop posts when they are showing up when you select a category, or have any kind of button for 'Continue' or 'Read Full Article'. The only way to continue reading the article is clicking the title button which isn't obvious to everyone (according to one of my readers they didn't even know you could at first). An example is this special forces category (http://bestmilitarysurplus.com/category/special-forces/), where only the title is clickable.

I think you would need to add the "Continue" button to your theme file, such as index.php.

You would need to edit the excerpt tag in your theme on the category.php page.
