I'm considering purchasing one of the last two products, or just sticking with the fairly limited, but acceptable Astore. Can anybody compare/contrast these options for me, please? (remember, I'm not a coding or technical whiz kid.)

Thanks.

Do You have links for the products ?

I would be glad to check them out from a technical standpoint if you like.

I don't do much with Amazon so I won't be much help there.

Amaniche is a paid WP plugin that adds Amazon products to your site (in one sitting, or dripped fed, depending on what you want.) I personally use it and like it, and in my opinion it;'s easy to use.

I know the creator f of the plugin another forum I belong to, and he's been very helpful when I needed.

Rosalind Gardner also uses and recommends this plugin. You can see AmaNiche here. (http://www.myonlinebusinessjourney.com/r/wpamaniche.php) (aff)

What kinds of questions do you have about AmaNiche? I'll try to answer if I can. I don't have phpAzon, so I can't help with that.

Thanks, Pablo. That's nice of you -

The link for Amaniche is above, with Adriana's post (I don't want to copy it as I'm afraid I'll screw up her aff code! :))

Here's the one for phpZon: http://www.phpbay.com/phpzon-pro-wordpress-plugin.html (somebody around here has an aff link and a discount for that product or phpbay. If I find it, I WILL add it to this thread.)

Jeanette:

Amaniche looks a bit easier to install, but just a bit. I think whichever one you choose will be easy enough to install since they are both plugins.

Astore is free however and I do remember setting one up a long time ago.

I don't know how well it plays with WP. I think it is just some Javascript code and that should be ok. I think my cooking site could do well with an astore.....
I'll let you know if and when I set it up.

Pablo

Update: Turns out the store I had set up was still there. I just added a page and inserted it using an Iframe. You should be able to do the same with WP. It is just a matter of selecting that option and then copy and paste.

There is also a widget that you can add that selects Items in your astore. I don't know if you are looking for that or if you want to place items in your posts in which case the plugins would probably be better.

Is set up an astore, but frankly, don't particularly like how it looks - too Amazony, if you know what I mean. I also kinda like the idea of a drip feed.
