I'm new here, so I hope this makes sense. I have owned an online business for over two years. I have a website for my business that includes a weekly blog. I recently started a second blog to get started in some affiliate marketing/internet marketing for additional revenue streams. (Blog A is more "what I can do for you," Blog B is more "what you can do yourself." Hence their separation.)

My business website blog page gets very little views. Most of my viewers are checking out my services and about me section and contacting me from there. Since my business blog talks about things also pertain to my new blog I was considering taking down that business blog and modifying those posts for article submission to drive traffic to BOTH sites.

Does that make any sense? Good idea or bad idea? For some crazy reason, even though no one is reading that blog I'm still afraid to get rid of it. lol

Welcome to the forum!

:-)

I think you will get lots of good advice on both of your blogs. Do you feel comfortable posting the URLs so that we can have a look - you may help folks to help you.

You can certainly repurpose content and pop those articles in article directories to drive traffic to either of the blogs.

You will want to tweak both blogs and get the most of them this post from Lynn's blog may help and there are tons of other posts there too that you will find helpful http://www.clicknewz.com/2222/how-can-i-promote-my-website-for-free/

You can leave the blog up and still modify/repurpose those articles for article marketing submissions. I think article marketing is always worth the effort, it's great for links, traffic, sales, all sorts of things. Definitely get those articles out there.

Whenever you are ready!

But don't spend too much time on "polishing" - best to publish first revise later!
