Hi,

This may be a silly question. But for the life of me, I can't figure this out. I had Aweber on a blog of mine last year, and collected a series of emails. I no longer use Aweber, but did save the list as a CSV on my computer.

But now I can't find it. Where did it go? lol. Help!

I have searched in docs, downloads, etc. I have Windows 7.

One little caution here is are you allowed to email these folks? Check the TOS of aweber to find out first eh?

Also it depends on your computer and operating system - say whetehr you ahve PC/ mac and XP / VISTA /W7...that will help.

When you searched your computer, did you do a search on "csv" or ".csv"?

That dot will make a difference.

Or are you looking for files on your hard drive from the open dialog box in Excel? If so, then you need to select the appropriate file type of ".csv" in the bottom of the box.

I recommend Google Desktop Search. It is a free download and I think it is usually installed with Google Toolbar if you have that.

Select Advanced Search - Files - File Type to limit the search results to .csv files. If you don't know the file name searching just for .csv files might work or thy *.csv on desktop search.

Good luck

I usually search .csv to find that type of file.
if you signed up for your own list you can search contents for your email address or anything else you think is in the file.
I would also just search aweber and see if it shows up.
Or if you remember the date you saved it do a search by date last modified to find all files in that time frame.
