Hi all

I have created 2 OTO pks to go with some of my products I am selling. The problem I am having is that they are 35MB and my server only allows a 25 MB upload per file.

Does anyone know of a free service/site that allows you to upload a file that size that I can also link to my payment processor so that when someone buys the OTO they will get their download?

This is the first time I am trying to incorporate the OTO so am still unsure of how they whole thing works for linking pages and such.

Can you tell me if I have this correct?

1. Sales page is linked to OTO when someone purchases(had it just linked to my thank you page before)

2. Person says no to OTO then gets taken to thank you page since bought front end product(right?- and how do I set that up?)

3. If person buys OTO too, then gets taken to a separate thank you page that has OTO download link(right?- and again, how do I make 2 thank you pages link to the same OTO to go 2 different places?)

This may seem stupid or hard to understand what I am saying, the reason I ask is because I have been using Click 2 Sell(much like e-junkie), and they only have the one spot for sales url and then the one spot to put your thank you page url. I do not know how to incorporate an OTO page to link to both of those pages too, and with the option of second thank you page for OTO purchase.

thanks to anyone who can understand my dilemma and help me out.

I KNOW you're not stupid, but I'll confess to feeling stupid right now. What's an OTO?

Sorry, my bad. I just assumed that everyone here new what an OTO is. It is a One Time Offer that you have to give to your customers that can help them out even more with the item they just purchased from you, but also gives you a chance to make more money.

Ex. I have an $11.97 report on setting up and running an online store. Now we all know that marketing is a big aspect of how successful you are with your business. So once they buy my book, I have an OTO that has some software and other ebooks as a package deal that can help them market their store and get the money coming in. The customer realizes this will help them immensely and decides(since they still have credit card in hand) to purchase my OTO(since it will never be offered to them anywhere else again at that amazing price), and I have offered great service/products to my customer but also turned an $11.97 sale into a $60 sale or more(depending on what you decide to charge for the OTO pack)

This takes a little more work to set up and a little bit of know how with the html editing, but well worth it in the end if you can increase you sales by up to 40%. I was reading that you should aim for a 2-4% ratio if you are offering the OTO after someone signs up to your email list to get your free product. But if you offer the OTO after someone has their credit card in hand because they just bought something off of you, you can increase you buying ratio from 20%-60%. That is awesome don't you think? I do, and hence the reason why I am embarking on this new venture.

Thanks for asking, I didn't know either.

When I did an OTO I did this - through paypal but should be the same.

You need two Pay Now buttons A and B

Button A has the OTO as the thank you page

Button B has the download page for the OTO as the thank you page

You then need two sales pages

Sales page A is the sales page with button A

Sales page B is the OTO sales page with button B

You then need two download pages

Download page A is for the original product

Download page B is for the original and the OTO product

Person clicks on the Pay Now button (A) on your sales page and is taken to the merchant to pay.

They are then directed to the OTO page (sales page B)

If they do not want the offer then there should be a No Thanks link on there somewhere. Clicking on this would direct them to Download Page A.

If they do want the offer then they need to click on the Pay Now button (B) on the OTO page.

They now go back to your merchant and this time they get taken to Download Page B which has the download links for the product and the OTO.

As a tip I'd also send the link to Download Page A by email (you might have to do this manually depending on your merchant. If you have Aweber you might be able to tie the two together). People who aren't sure on OTO may just close the page without seeing the No thanks link. I had someone complain through PP that they didn't get the product - it was just that they closed the link and didn't go to the download page.

Hope that makes sense!

I believe http://Willmaster.com has code that can accomplish this. If you don't see it, contact Will and ask, he's very helpful.

Sorry it took me so long to get back here, been a hectic 2 weeks. Clare, that was a really detailed explanation of the process and I have done something very similar. Thank you for your time to explain as I am sure more people will be able to benefit from it as well.

I hope I can start seeing some numbers soon. Conversion rates and tracking are next on my to-do list for education as I have never really spent much time doing that.

Thank you Engage, I will check into that link. Always looking for new ideas.
