There are many pros and cons to both. For example Google is the king of search engines and has almost 8 times the traffic as Yahoo on average. Google’s interface tends to be easier to navigate than Yahoo’s. Yahoo’s interface requires more clicking and can take more time to complete account related tasks. Google Adwords is more competitive and is more expensive than YSM. On YSM trademark limitation is not so strict as Google Adwords. Yahoo officially purchased their PPC provider (Overture) and changed the company moniker to 'Yahoo Search Marketing'. The good thing about Yahoo is that it is attempting to target a new market that is still raw and developing.

I’d prefer using Adwords though.

Good Luck.

I heard the same. I think with Google you reach out to a bigger audience. Anyway, that's what I assume.

I think google adword is better as google has many users and it will affect more. So it is better to use google adword.

Michael Carpenter is absolutely right. The only way to know for sure is to test each one, and keep detailed results.

I think no difference between Google and Yahoo on these matters.
