I recently registered for NAMS 4. Does anyone know what the start and ending times are? The sales page gives the dates as Aug. 20-23, but I'm interested in finding out the actual times, so I can make travel plans.

Thanks,
Terese

Terese,
If it's the same as last year, they will start around 8:30 AM on Friday and end after lunch on Monday. A lot of people come in on Thursday afternoon/evening to get to know others before NAMS starts if that helps. Looking forward to meeting you there!

Actually, very little occurred on Monday except networking and socializing. There were no presentations. So you might want to consider saving the night's hotel room cost and traveling home on Sunday night - as long as you can fly AFTER all the Sunday presentations are finished.

Thanks, Ladies. That helps. I'm planning on arriving late afternoon on Thursday, and leaving Sunday pm.
And thank you for the welcome, Angie. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone.

I was gonna come a little early to get some geocaching in, but, now I might even come a day or so early to stay with a friend that lives out there that I haven't seen in almost 10 years. We knew each other when we both lived in Dallas, TX - now we both live out here! Cool!!

I figured I'd fly in Thursday night so I'm ready to rock Friday morning and then fly out Sunday night, but after the interview I did with Maritza Parra and Jeff Herring, I'm thinking I'd be cutting it short by not sticking around until lunch on Monday...

Mike,
I would definitely recommend staying as long as you can. And if you weren't already aware, Maritza and Jeff are having their after NAMS class on Monday and it goes until the evening so you might want to look into that before you book your flight unless you already did that.

Hey Angie,

Yes, Jeff and Maritza did mention that session and I plan to be there. They certainly know a thing or two about social media to say the very least.

BTW, love your weight loss journey blog! I'm just finishing 31 days of 100% regimented sticking to the "lpan" and it has been tough but eye opening. Great job on your end for sure!

See you in Atlanta.

Mike

Do we have a thread set up for those who are looking for roomies at the hotel? I can't find one.

You can do all things NAMS related at the thread cleverly named "THE NAMS4 Thread".

It's a one-stop spot to avoid confusion!

Dan

P.S. Oops, sorry...that's the thread in the Elite section (http://WAHumor.com/sswtelite.php).

@ Mike Thanks for your kind comments about my blog. Congrats to you for sticking with a plan for 31 days. THAT is an accomplishment.

@ Leigha There is a NAMS thread in the elite forum where people are asking for roomies but I can' recall if there is one here in the main forum. You can use this thread if you would like. I'm sure Terese wouldn't mind!

I am planning on coming in Thursday afternoon and staying until Monday afternoon. I think the networking and brainstorming will be priceless!

@Angie. The first 20 days were eay...the last 11 were anything BUT easy!

So who is looking for a roomie for NAMS? Not sure if I'll be staying at the Crowne or just up the street, but I'm booking this weekend and curious as to who is considering rooming up. I'm quiet (at least I don't hear me making much noise when I sleep ;-) and very considerate.

I may be able to help you out there, Mike.

Tell us more about your self-imposed 31 day challenge. What was the "plan" you worked?

Dan

Hey Dan,

I'll send you a PM after I post this...

Since this is a NAMS thread, I'll make a new post based on my 31 day plan and goal setting. It will keep this thread clean and the goal setting stuff will be golden as I learned a LOT that might be very useful to others.

Super excited for NAMS! I thoroughly enjoyed the interviews I've done with some f the brilliant speakers who will be at NAMS and I've still got a few up my sleeve that I'd like to do between now and then.

Got my flight booked for NAMS! Flying in Thursday around 1 PM then flight back home on Monday is YIKES not until 8:30 PM. It was the best deal I could grab because I didn't want to fly back in the early afternoon. So now maybe I'll look into Jeff & Martiza's class OR set up an early dinner get together for anyone in the area or anyone who is flying out late like I am.

So everything is done, NAMS ticket, flight and room. Phew! So excited!

For those of you going to NAMS who are not yet SSWT elite members Lynn is opening the elite group back up June 14th so be sure to let me know if you have any questions.

@angienewton I have a short flight so I will probably stay as late as I can. I want to take full advantage of the time I have there

Peace,

Roey.

Great John, I think you'll be happy you did. Make the best of it!

Roey, looking forward to meeting you! And we can talk BEACH....hubby and I visit Jamaica every year and although we stay at a couples resort, I'm still excited to talk to you about your beach family site.

While I have everyone, it would be great if you go to NAMS 4 with 3 goals in mind. Other than networking of course and answering questions about the elite group my personal goals are to learn more about article marketing, list building and back links. I can't wait to see the new class structure they have this time around. Hope we find out soon!

Got a lot to do between now and then...better go do it!

For anyone who's interested, the organizers have really gotten a great price on the hotel. When I called, the agent told me that the normal room rate was $165 per night
with a AAA discount. With the audio recording bonus thrown in, they're really making it worthwhile for everyone to stay in the same place.

CindyBrock

It should be $94 (plus tax) per night - if they aren't sold out at that price.

I just tested the discount code "NAMS4MAY" and it's still working! I had read somewhere that it ended 6/11 and somewhere else that it ends today. It's working so I *think* today is the last day to get $300 off!

http://www.premiumwebdesign.com/awesome/NAMS/

According to the sales page, there are only 13 seats available.

Yes, that's correct. My point is that it's an excellent discount; I'll take $94 over $165 any day.

Angie, just booked my flight; I get in to Atlanta just before 4pm on Thursday, so I should be at the hotel some time before 5. I'm flying out Sunday pm, as I need to be home early Monday morning. Maybe we could get a group going to meet in the lounge, or at the pool or something on Thursday.

Hope noone minds me bumping this thread.
