Hi guys,
How do you find out who is linking to a site?
Yahoo SiteExplorer is one way.
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com
Do you know other methods?
Thanks!

Market Samurai is my favorite way.
It will give you all the URL's linking to a site, the anchor text used for the link, and the PageRank of the site the link is coming from.
www.backlinkwatch.com is another way, but I don't find it to be as reliable. It is free though.
Traffic Travis might do some of that too, but I forget. I would have to go back and boot it up to check.

Thanks Mike, that was fast!
Market Samurai is my favorite way.
It looks like Market Samurai is a windows program, yes? If yes, I don't be able to test it, but I have a few questions for my review.
- Will it show more backlinks than Yahoo's 1,000 link limit?
- Does it make it easy to see which domains are linking?
Thanks!

It is not a windows program. It is an online tool, so you can use it with either a PC or a MAC.
Off the top of my head, I'm not sure about the 1,000 link limit. Maybe someone else can chime in. I believe it does, but I don't want to give you the wrong information.
I'm not anywhere that I can test it right now. I may have some time early this evening to confirm that for you.
As for the ease... Yes. It gives you the exact URL of anywhere linking to the site in question.
If you go to www.marketsamurai.com, you can get a fully functional trial version to test out for yourself. I think it is a 30-day trial.
One of the best things about MS is the tutorial videos provided. They are absolutely outstanding in teaching you how to get the most out of the product. It's where a lot of the internet marketing tools fail. Sometimes you need to almost be a programmer to figure out how to use some of the products out there.

Yep Market Samurai is a favorite and a very powerful tool for other tasks as well. Heck, you can even use it for keyword research! :-)

I use Yahoo SiteExplorer and Google analytics. I guess the last one is better, much better as it gives additional information about the most popular keywords and destination of links.

Market Samurai isn't a Windows-specific program but it also isn't an online tool.
It's a program that runs on the Adobe Air platform, and it runs well on Windows and on Macs. Some people have been using it successfully on Linux.
It shows no more backlinks than Yahoo's 1,000 limit, because Yahoo is where it gets its info from.
It tells you the links for the top 10 webpages for any particular keyword, and you can paste in any additional web pages you want to check for that keyword.
Also, you may have heard that their affiliate program is now functional, and with their amazing 48% payout on affiliate sales you can also earn some dosh for selling it yourself
Hope this helps.
