I want to make my content "fresher" by removing the timestamps, but I have no idea how to do that! I also do not know which plugins (if any!) are the best to be using for my blog. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

To remove time stamps you normally have to modify the code in the template. If you feel confident doing this, you will look for something on the page template that includes date and remove that line of code. I have it removed on one of my blogs that doesn't get frequently updated. You'll want to remove it on the file single.php

Thank you so much. I kept looking in around where you change permalinks thinking that there must be something in there :o.

You're welcome. Ironically, Blogging Teacher published a post on this yesterday. You can get the detail here: http://www.bloggingteacher.com/how-to-remove-the-date-from-wordpress-posts

The code is sometimes in there on the "page" file too for some templates. You will want to take a look at that.

Just a reminder... always always backup your database and your files before you start editing files. That way, if things get messed up you can recover easily.

Or just make sure you keep a copy of the file(s) you are editing on your local computer. If you screw it up too bad, just use an FTP program to upload that file back into the Wordpress folder and you are back up and running.

How do you remove timestamps in Wordpress?

If you remove Wordpress, the timestamps will go away automatically.

Sorry, couldn't resist, please ignore, as you were. :)

Where's the "dirty look" emoticon when you need it?
