Hey guys,

I was planning to write this story with a more degrading headline, but the new engine has kind of impressed me. The new trick in search engine however, is parsing the information available on the internet to be displayed on the search engine. The Wolfram Alpha is the extreme example of this. Both the Google and Bing have parts which work at collating the information, instead of linking you to the external pages where the data is stored. Bing does a better job at this in many areas like reviews, movie listings, weather, travel, and also stock prices.

Thanks a lot.

I guess it's unfair talking like this : Bing is bad, Google is good. I think any search engine has it's own supporters and opponents. At present, Google is better for my business but I've already started doing SEO for Bing as well.

What factors do you find are helping you rank in Bing?

I use Google out of habit. In the searches that I do I don't see much difference between them and visually I love the pictures on the bing home page and the simplicity and usability of bing for video searches.

If anybody knows any Bing SEO tips speak up!!

:-)

Right now Bing is not that good.
But soon Bing will be very close to Google.
The way Bing is improving. It will rise up very good & soon.

Many of internet user use Google just because of its popularity, Bing has not made impression as it has to be, about 70% of internet users prefer Google, and that is enough to love Google for internet marketing related person.

I think people use Google just because they're conditioned to. Google isn't just a search engine its a common term people use when they're searching, "I better go Google that," or "I Googled them last night," is heard all the time, so it's engrained into people's mind.

I don't think any one is really better than the other honestly in terms of being a user, I use Google, Yahoo, and Bing and don't really feel much of a difference when I'm searching for something. I always end up finding what I'm looking for. Of course, in terms of marketing I always like whoever ranks me better ;)

I would just say that the integration of bing with Microsoft will bring improvement in it, but i don't think that it will come into competition with Google in even next 1-2 years.

do you guys have any logical reasoning of Bing's superiority over Google?

The interface of bing is really impressive, but it is still too early to see if it will match up with Google.

On the other hand, google was once the underdog as well. It will take TIME for bing to rival the expertise and sophistication of google. I for one, am impressed by bing and will be watching it closely.

I use both engines. Interesting but in case I am searching for personal stuff and interests, I like to use google for surfing, but in work I use Bing as I feel its SERP is more accurate and relevant.

Unfortunately their Adcenter service is not that effective.
