Why to employ SEO to up-rank sites and not other options?

Is there any specific reason for not using other techniques other than SEO to improve rankings of websites? Although, some use other techniques too but main focus has always been on SEO, why?

Obviously, in my personal opinion, the basic purpose of SEO is to up-rank sites, and when you're done with that, one thing is pretty sure that you'll have more clicks on your site being on top. This will automatically bring traffic to your site. Isn't it?

You can get much more traffic from PPC, but problem is as we stop PPC traffic also stop, and one more reason traffic from other sources have much high bounce rate then SEO. SEO helps in improving traffic and visibility of keywords. This give more targeted traffic.

Seo is one of the critical components in internet marketing, picture a octopus with many legs so is internet marketing composed of many moving parts or legs and seo is just a one part of this whole system.

Seo is a major component to a affiliate marketer or offline business owner trying to create a presence online since if you are able to get on top 1st page of google you will start to see some traffic.

Seo which is composed of onpage and offpage seo will determine who how much you will rank !

In response to your questions -- Seo is the primary way to rank your site period and the way to do it is through onpage / offpage seo.

Onpage seo factors - are the 1st things you do to your website and must be in place to help you rank which are keyword selection and positioning them through out your title / description / keyword tags placing them correcting in various places on the page such as heading and through out the pages and in fact even if you do not do any offpage seo you can still rank for low competiing keywords. This is a starting point and a good one as i have been able to rank well just from doing onpage seo.

Offpage seo factors - Are a little harder takes more time, the biggest factor being --- authority links pointing back to your site, this takes work and time. These links can from a variety of places does not have to be from one linking method strategy.
