I am new to affiliate marketing in fact have not done so as of yet, but my question is racking my brains on this.

Can one successfully sell many different informational products from one website or blog or should one be setting up different mini sites for each product.

I have read on this before and read about conversions so what is in question to me I guess is conversion which will convert better mini sites for related products or one website with many review of related products ?

One site/blog with reviews of related products is what I do and what most recommend.

Hi angie...

This is new to me and going thru information overload at this moment about review site !

Questions:

1) So the site/blog should be a authority type content site with product review links from the content

2) Or can the site/blog be strictly a review site of different products related to dogs have you heard is this would work as well or not as good as a content site that provides valuable content and then includes product reviews.

Note:

So let me go over this and not assume anything, so lets say I set up a review site for dogs so then I should only focus on the dog niche and nothing else and any reviews on my site will be related to dogs strictly !

Thanks visited your site looks great...and you provide some proof...which is you powerful testimonial which builds credibility...:)

Your site needs to be topical, yes - and target a specific market. In order to hold any credibility with both Google and human visitors, your domain and navigation and internal pages should all be on the same topic. In regards to Google it's called "site theme" or "site theming".

Start with a topic or a market, and go from there.

hi lynn...

Ok...this is clearer now, what I got from this, I cannot create a review site that contains reviews for for every different niche or market out there.

Also what I got from this, that I do not have to create a whole bunch of different mini-review-sites to review lets say dog niche related products. You are pre-selling 1st with valuable incomplete content then leading them to a review page for the whole enchilida..:) All of these reviews can be from one site called example : www-doggies-com and create content for specific categories in the dog market and within those categories create content that is topic specific but is incomplete but valuable and then lead them for more information thru a paid product I am an affiliate of.....:(

Ok...I got it....now I hope...;O)...lol Always room for the unexpected belief I got it and I don't, but I will come back if I get stuck again and need to come running for help.

All of this is very exciting, as I have used most of what I have learned to promote the offline world on the internet it has been a wonderful experience, but at the same a over whelming sense of information load when it comes to putting some pieces together in affiliate marketing.
