I am a new Elite member starting my online business. Lynn recommends HostGator, and Rosalind Gardner suggests BlueHost as hosting vendors. Does anyone have any experience with both, and if so, which would you use if you were starting your busniess now? Thanks for your input...Don Neil

I use HostGator for my sites and would enthusiastically recommend them. They use cPanel which is the easiest admin frontend. Their support is top notch. You can also get an account that allows multiple sites BlueHost may be just as good but I've never used them.

Don, I replied to your private message.

And I also wanted to say that I have been using Host Gator for a long time and highly recommend them.

Lynn's Host Gator link (http://www.clicknewz.com/hostgator.htm) and I believe the code wordpress will give you a discount.

Have had both, prefer Hostgator because of vastly superior support

That's a good choice, Don.

We've tried Bluehost, and we had all of our 60+ domains taken down, because an anonymous brave guy told them that we had illegal sites on their server (in Danish). Obviously we hadn't, but it took 24 hours to get them all online again. And we moved after that episode, especially since their service wasn't good.

After that we were with Dreamhost, who was great for a couple of years. Then they switched to being a nightmarehost, so we moved to HostGator, and we're so happy there :)
