Hi!
I'm new here. This is my first intervention and I'm going to need the help of you guys.
I'm planning to sell my first $7 dollars report but I've read from Lynn that I don't need to have a site to sell that report. My questions are How do i set up that?
Should I post the report starting with the sales page and the PayPal button at the end?
If that is the way, then after payment. Does the buyer download the report right there?
If not. Where is he taken since I don't have a website?
Would you please give me like a step by step answer? Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Anthony

Why don't you want a website?

Hi Anthony,
You'll need a few pages, so you'll need a hosting account (http://www.clicknewz.com/2373/hostgator-best-cheap-web-hosting/). And also an Aweber (http://sswt.aweber.com) account - so you can follow up with your buyers. Do you plan to have an affiliate program, or use a payment processor such as ClickBank - or just sell your report directly through PayPal? If the latter, here are the steps:
First, set up a sales page like this one - which includes the buy button you create in PayPal:
http://www.fastcashstrategy.com/sswt-only.htm
That buy button takes them to PayPal. After payment, Paypal redirects them to the page you specified...
I recommend redirecting them to an opt-in page that says "Where can I deliver your report?"
You set up that opt-in box through Aweber, when you create your mailing list.
Once they opt-in, Aweber generates a confirmation email, and then redirects them to the page you specified for your list.
You want to send them to a page that says "Please check your email, and click the confirmation link."
Once they click the confirmation link in the Aweber email, they are taken to the next page that you specified (the "success page URL" I believe it's called) - which is your download page, and also sent a follow-up email with the link to the download page.
Hope that helps :)

Hi Lynn!
Thanks for taking the time to answer me.
When I was talking about my $7 dollars report, I was talking about running a WSO at WF. Do I have to go through all that in this case too? I want to set up my site, but, first I would like to sell this report the way you said in "FastCashStrategy".
Please just tell me if I have to go through all that process or if it can be set up in a simpler way.
Thanks.
Anthony

Anthony,
You can run a WSO without a website but you will need a way to deliver the report to your buyers and you will need a way for them to pay you (PayPal). You can get a WSO Pro account at WarriorPlus.com to help with that, but if your product is really good, wouldn't you want your buyers to learn more about you and you about them? It just doesn't seem to make sense that you would sell a product and then never speak to them again.

It's definitely ideal to have a customer list, and the rest of the steps. You don't have to - and you can just send them straight to the download page through the PayPal redirect - if you prefer. But I was answering the questions in your original post.

Great advice about adding an opt in page after payment

I can provide you with both hosting and mail list management for free if that will help you get up and running.
Best of luck.

If you are considering going down this route Tradebit (http://www.tradebit.com/) is also worth investigating.
