Hello everyone:

I decided to join the forum because I am in the process of starting an online business doing internet marketing. The method of marketing I'm really wanting to focus on is affiliate marketing since it's not as hard as like info product marketing. Yes I know that affiliate marketing like any other type of marketing is something that doesn't make you rich overnight and takes a while to start making money with. So I'm hoping that this forum can help me. I basically will be needing help with finding the right profitable niche to go after, learning how to do proper keyword research and learning how to determine competition levels. I know how to purchase domains and setup hosting on them, but will need to learn wordpress too. I look forward to meeting people here.

Thanks

marketingwarrior1141.

I want to know, to get into the elite forum, is that a monthly fee?

It is - it's very inexpensive considering what all we cover as a group. You can see the current rate by clicking on the Join link in the private forum section. We have five live calls per month, and in the private forum: site reviews, live case studies, tech Q&A, keyword research, Brainstorming Hour archives, brainstorming threads for members' sites/blogs and business models, etc.

I look forward to getting to know you! Care to share your first name, or shall we call you Warrior? :)

You may call me Stephen. How many of you have heard of Matt Carter's Rapid Profit Formula? I'm thinking about buying that course even though I shouldn't be spending that type of money on something like that, but from what I've read, it seems like it contains detailed information about building an affiliate marketing business.

Stephen,
The elite group is hands down the best thing I have been a part of and I attribute my online success to it. And you can learn everything you mention in there (and more!).

I have never heard of that program you mention. The name Rapid Profit turns me off right away but that's just me:). It takes time to build an affiliate marketing business so if they are saying any different, I would walk away from it.

As for the best profitable niche to go after, I would say it's best to start with something you enjoy so that you can have fun building your business.

I'm not familiar with it either, Stephen.

I have a checklist here: how to start a wordpress blog (http://www.clicknewz.com/1872/how-to-start-a-wordpress-blog/)

Hope that helps :)

Stephen, I could be totally wrong but... just the title of Matt's course alone tells me to stay far, far away from it. Those titles are generally products aimed at newbies and either overwhelm them with information (most of which is irrelevant, but it sounds good!) or they leave out vital information/keys to making the thing actually work... often there are upgrades they try to force you into (with bigger false promises) or fees for memberships, etc. People make fortunes scamming newbies with useless info... but the product names sound sosooo good... and it's only $47! You get my drift... just be cautious.

That's my .02 Good luck.
Chris
